What You’ll Do:

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to plans and specifications
• Perform various excavation tasks, such as digging foundations, trenches, and installing utilities
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Read and interpret blueprints (a plus)
• Utilize GPS technology (Trimble experience a plus)

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, and skid steers
• A valid driver’s license

Looking for a full-time mechanic to focus on the maintenance and repair of equipment such as gas and diesel pickups, Diesel Semi Trucks, dump trucks, dump trailers etc.
The shift time would be either 7:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Must supply own basic tools “we have specialty tools”
Friendly Working environment with a newly built drive thru shop.
Welding Experience is a plus.
Recommended CDL class A for test drives.

Skills required

It’s the mechanic’s job to identify problems/issues that are causing the malfunction recorded by drivers, and then to repair those problems as efficiently as possible.

• In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and components.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Able to Inspect trucks and trailers and their engines for problems.
• Able to identify a problem.
• Able to follow basic procedures and fill out service records.
• Complete general maintenance tasks such as lubricating and cleaning engines, greasing equipment, regular services, brakes etc….
• Consult with other mechanics as needed to find the best solution to the problem

About the Role:

We are searching for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles and equipment, including:

• Gas and diesel pickups
• Diesel semi-trucks
• Dump trucks
• Dump trailers
• This is a full-time position with a regular shift schedule of 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems in trucks and heavy equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks like lubrication, oil changes, and brake checks
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to troubleshoot complex issues
• Maintain accurate service records
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and their components
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in truck or heavy equipment repair (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A valid driver’s license
• A CDL Class A is a plus (for test drives)
